The PikaSim Nostr Relay
We run a free, public Nostr relay for the community. Anyone can read from it. Writing is open to PikaSim customers at no cost, and to anyone else through a small Lightning payment or proof-of-work. No account, no email, no tracking.

Get a Nostr app
Pick one and create a key inside it (takes a minute, no email or phone number):

Find your public key (npub)
In the app, open your profile or settings and copy your public key. It starts with
npub1.... That is the only thing you paste here. Never share the other key that starts withnsec1- that one is your password. -
Add our relay
In the app's relay or settings screen, add
wss://relay.pikasim.com. Reading works immediately. To post through it, do step 4. -
Unlock writing
Redeem your eSIM below for free, pay 1000 sats once, or post with proof-of-work. Done once, it is permanent.
Three Ways to Get Write Access
Reading is free and open to everyone. To publish to the relay, use whichever of these fits you:
1. Be a Customer (Free)
Bought a PikaSim eSIM? Redeem it below with your Nostr key for free, permanent write access. It is our thank-you for supporting the project.
2. Pay with Lightning
Not a customer? Pay a small one-time Lightning fee (1000 sats) for permanent write access. Use the form below.
3. Proof-of-Work
Prefer to spend computation instead of money? Attach NIP-13 proof-of-work to your events (20 bits) and the relay accepts them, no registration needed.
Redeem Your eSIM for Free Write Access
Enter the ICCID from your eSIM details and your Nostr public key. We verify the ICCID against our records and grant your key write access. We never store your identity, just your public key.
Buy Write Access with Lightning
Not a PikaSim customer? Pay 1000 sats once for permanent write access. Enter your Nostr public key and pay the Lightning invoice. No account, no email.
Why Run a Relay At All?
Nostr is the open, censorship-resistant social protocol of the Bitcoin and privacy communities. It only works because independent operators run relays. We run one as part of our free privacy infrastructure, alongside our public Monero node and Tor relay. We keep writes restricted with a light barrier (customer, payment, or proof-of-work) so the relay stays fast and spam-free, while reads stay open to the whole network.
