Please read these terms carefully before using PikaSim services. By purchasing or using our eSIM products, you agree to these terms.

1. About PikaSim
PikaSim is a digital eSIM service operated in the United States. We provide prepaid eSIM data packages for international travel without requiring account registration or identity verification.
PikaSim's servers and databases are hosted in Finland — a European Union member state with some of the strongest privacy laws in the world. Finland has robust constitutional privacy protections and strict GDPR enforcement. We chose Finnish jurisdiction for our infrastructure specifically to provide stronger privacy protections for our users' data.
2. What We Sell & Delivery
PikaSim sells digital eSIM profiles (activation codes/QR codes) that provide prepaid mobile data service in various countries and regions.
Delivery Method
- Immediate digital delivery - Your eSIM activation code and QR code are displayed on-screen immediately after successful payment
- You receive a unique link to access your eSIM details at any time
- Email delivery is optional - we do not require an email address
- You are responsible for saving your ICCID, activation link, and/or QR code
3. Privacy & No-KYC Policy
What We Don't Collect
- No identity documents or verification
- No account registration required
- No phone number required
- No email or personal data collected
- No tracking of your data usage or browsing activity

4. Refund Policy
Once an eSIM has been installed on a device or activated on a carrier network, it is generally not eligible for a refund as the service has been consumed.
Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund
eSIMs that have NOT been installed or activated and show zero data usage may be eligible for a refund. Eligibility is determined by verifying the eSIM status with our network provider.
NOT Eligible for Refund
eSIMs that have been installed, activated on a carrier network, or where any data has been consumed are not eligible for refund.
Refund Process
- How to request: Submit a support ticket with your ICCID and reason for the refund request.
- Review timeline: Refund requests are typically reviewed within 48 hours.
- Refund method: Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method (Stripe refund for card payments, Bitcoin for crypto payments).
- Crypto refunds: Issued in BTC at the current exchange rate. Refunds in the original cryptocurrency (e.g., XMR, USDT) are not available.
Payment Issues
If your payment was processed but you did not receive your eSIM (non-provisioned), please submit a support ticket. We will attempt to recover or re-provision your eSIM, but recovery is not guaranteed in all cases.
5. Cryptocurrency Payments
- We accept Bitcoin (on-chain and Lightning Network) and other cryptocurrencies
- Crypto transactions are irreversible by nature
- Refunds for crypto payments, if approved, will be processed at our discretion and may be subject to exchange rate differences
- Ensure you send the correct amount to the correct address before confirming
6. Device Compatibility & User Responsibility
Before purchasing, you must verify:
- Your device supports eSIM technology
- Your device is carrier unlocked (not locked to a specific carrier)
- Your device is compatible with the destination network frequencies
- eSIM functionality is not disabled by your carrier or region
- Carrier restrictions or carrier-locked devices
- Region-locked devices or eSIM restrictions
- Operating system bugs or device software issues
- Incompatible devices or network frequency mismatches

7. Service Limitations
PikaSim provides eSIM data service through partnerships with international carriers. Please understand the following limitations:
Coverage & Quality
- Network coverage and quality depend on partner carriers and local infrastructure
- Coverage maps are estimates; actual coverage may vary
- Rural or remote areas may have limited or no coverage
Performance
- Speeds are NOT guaranteed - Actual speeds depend on network congestion, location, and carrier policies
- Latency is NOT guaranteed - May vary based on network conditions
- Availability is NOT guaranteed - Networks may experience outages or maintenance
- Some packages may have speed throttling after fair use limits (indicated in package details)
Data-Only Service
Most PikaSim eSIMs provide data service only. Voice calls and SMS require internet-based apps (VoIP, messaging apps). Native phone calls and SMS are not included unless specifically stated.
Phone Plans (Voice + SMS + Data)
PikaSim offers select phone plans that include voice calling, SMS, and data. The following additional limitations apply to phone plans:
- Emergency calling (911/112): Phone plan eSIMs may NOT reliably support emergency calls in all locations. Do not rely solely on a PikaSim phone plan for emergency services. Always have an alternative means of contacting emergency services.
- Voice quality: Call quality depends on network conditions and carrier support for VoLTE roaming. Dropped calls, audio issues, or inability to connect may occur.
- SMS delivery: SMS delivery is not guaranteed. Some services that use SMS verification may not work with phone plan numbers.
- Number retention: Phone numbers assigned to phone plans are not portable and cannot be transferred to another carrier.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
Fair Use
Our service is designed for personal use. Excessive usage that impacts network quality for other users may result in throttling or service suspension.
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use PikaSim services for:
- Illegal activities of any kind
- Fraud or fraudulent purposes
- Network interference or attacks on network infrastructure
- Bulk abuse or automated mass usage
- Reselling service without authorization
- Spam or unsolicited mass communications
- Any activity that violates local laws in your location
9. Account-less Usage & Link Security
PikaSim operates without user accounts. Your eSIM is accessed via a unique, private URL.
Your Responsibilities
- Keep your eSIM link private - Treat it like a password
- Do not share your QR code or activation link publicly
- Save your ICCID for reference and support requests
10. Limitation of Liability
Service "As Is"
PikaSim services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Maximum Liability
In no event shall PikaSim's liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific eSIM package giving rise to the claim.
Exclusion of Damages
PikaSim shall NOT be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from service interruptions or network issues
- Damages caused by carrier or third-party actions
- Any damages exceeding the purchase price of your eSIM
11. Infrastructure & Data Jurisdiction
PikaSim's application servers and databases are hosted in Helsinki, Finland, a member state of the European Union. We intentionally selected Finnish infrastructure for the following reasons:
- Strong EU privacy protections — Finland is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection law
- Strong privacy jurisdiction — Finland has robust constitutional privacy protections and strict data protection enforcement
- Robust rule of law — Finland consistently ranks among the top countries globally for judicial independence and civil liberties
By hosting in Finland, your data benefits from European privacy standards regardless of where you access our service from.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
Dispute Resolution
- Informal Resolution First: Before initiating any formal dispute, please submit a support ticket. We will attempt to resolve your concern within 30 days.
- Formal Proceedings: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
13. AI-Assisted Support
PikaSim uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide customer support through our help chat, support tickets, and automated responses. By using these services, you acknowledge the following:
- AI-generated responses: Some or all support responses may be generated by AI systems. These responses are provided for informational purposes and general guidance only.
- Not professional advice: AI-generated responses do not constitute legal, technical, or professional advice. Do not rely on AI responses for decisions involving legal compliance, financial matters, or safety-critical situations.
- Accuracy not guaranteed: While we strive for accuracy, AI systems may produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information. PikaSim is not liable for errors in AI-generated content.
- Human review: Complex or sensitive issues may be escalated to human support staff. If you require human assistance, you may request escalation through your support ticket.
14. Changes to These Terms
PikaSim reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
