Pick Your eSIM Package
Browse 190+ country packages on the website or in the PikaSim app. No account or login required.
Select "Pay with Crypto"
At checkout, click the orange "Pay with Crypto" button to open the BTCPay Server invoice page.
Choose "Altcoins"
On the BTCPay checkout page, select the Altcoins tab. This opens Trocador AnonPay, where you can pick your specific cryptocurrency from the dropdown.
Select Your Coin and Send
Choose your altcoin (e.g., DOGE, LTC, ETH). Trocador shows you the exact amount to send and provides an address. Send from your wallet. Trocador swaps your coin to BTC or XMR and forwards the payment to our BTCPay Server.
Get Your eSIM
Once the swap completes and the resulting BTC or XMR payment confirms on our end, your eSIM is provisioned automatically. The QR code and install instructions appear on the invoice page.

Altcoin Payment FAQ
Why do altcoins go through a swap?
We accept BTC, Lightning, Monero, and USDT natively on our BTCPay Server. For all other coins, a swap is necessary because BTCPay does not support them natively. Trocador handles this swap privately and without KYC.
What if the swap takes too long?
Our invoices have a 30-minute window. If the swap plus blockchain confirmation exceeds this, the invoice may expire. Our system still detects late payments in most cases and provisions the eSIM automatically. If not, contact our help center with the transaction details.
Are there extra fees for altcoin payments?
Trocador charges a small swap fee (typically 0.5 to 1%). This is in addition to the network fee of whatever coin you are sending. For the best rates, Trocador compares multiple swap providers and picks the cheapest.
Can I get a refund if I paid with an altcoin?
Refunds for unactivated eSIMs are processed in Bitcoin (on-chain or Lightning), regardless of the original payment method. We cannot refund in the original altcoin.
Is Trocador safe?
Trocador is an aggregator, not a custodial exchange. It routes your swap through providers like ChangeNOW, MorphToken, and others. Your coins are swapped atomically, meaning they are converted and forwarded in a single flow. Trocador has been operating since 2022 with a focus on privacy.
Which coin is fastest for payment?
Litecoin and Solana tend to be the fastest through a swap due to their short block times. Dogecoin is also quick. Ethereum works but gas fees can make small purchases expensive.
