Is this a real phone number or VoIP?
This is a real mobile number on the T-Mobile network. It's a genuine carrier number, not a VoIP or internet-based number. You'll receive SMS and calls just like any other mobile phone user.
What can I use the number for?
Your number works for voice calls, sending and receiving SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, and other messaging apps. Note that some third-party services may have their own restrictions on which numbers they accept.
What network does this use?
These eSIMs operate on T-Mobile's 5G network, providing 5G/LTE coverage across the United States with excellent coverage in most areas.
How do I get my phone number?
Your phone number is assigned by the network when you activate the eSIM. To find your number after activation:
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > select your eSIM line > look for "My Number"
Android: Settings > About Phone > SIM Status, or dial *#100#
Note: The assigned number may be from various regions.
Can I make international calls?
No, outgoing calls are limited to US domestic numbers only. You can receive calls from international numbers, but they will use your included minutes. Need international calling? Check out our Global Data + Calls + SMS plans.
Will I receive verification codes (OTP) on this number?
Often yes, but we cannot guarantee it, and no travel plan can. Codes from banks, payment apps, government services and many large platforms are sent from special sender numbers, and a lot of those senders refuse to deliver to international roaming numbers as an anti fraud measure. That is decided by the sender, not by us or the network, so it can differ from one service to the next. Ordinary calls and texts from a normal personal phone are unaffected. If receiving verification codes is your main reason for buying, use our private SMS verification numbers instead. Those are built for codes and refund you automatically if no code arrives. Because OTP delivery is outside our control, phone plans are not refundable for undelivered verification codes.
How long do I have to activate the eSIM?
You have 12 months from purchase to install and activate it. The validity period only starts when the eSIM first connects to a network, so you can buy now and activate whenever you need it.
What happens when my plan expires?
When your plan expires, you'll lose the phone number and any remaining data/minutes. Pro tip: Top up before expiry to extend your plan and keep your phone number!
Can I add more data, minutes, or SMS?
Yes! This eSIM is fully refillable. Top up anytime to add more data, voice minutes, and SMS. You always keep the same US phone number. No need to buy a new eSIM or lose your number.
